NO MORE SNIFFLES! 150 Km/hour! That's how fast droplets can travel after a cough or a sneeze. Yikes! Not only that but they can travel up to 2-3 metres and more. Some studies even suggest that there are about 100 billion bacteria's in our mouths. So, it's probably not a good thing when the person sitting next to you on the bus or train sneezes like crazy. Apparently the cold virus can survive on inanimate objects up to 3 days, and an office telephone contains 25,000 germs per square inch... So, think twice before you answer that phone in the office! Should you lock yourself in a box away from the world? Well, of course not! When disease strikes, your first line of defence is your immunity. Your body's defence system should be able to defend against bacteria and viruses if it is in good health. So, what you need is strong immunity, because even when you do get sick, your body will fight off disease a lot sooner. Keep in mind that your immune system can only be as healthy as its organised cells and tissues. What feeds your cells? It's oxygen and nutrients. Nutritional deficiency may be simply lack of nutrient intake, or poor digestive and absorption processes. Keep in mind that things like stress and pollution also rob your body of its vital nutrients.
