5+ Ways To Help You Increase Blood Flow, What a marvel! The average human heart, beating at 72 beats per minute, will beat approximately 2.5 billion times during a lifetime (about 66 years). A strong heart is necessary for good blood flow. But, here's the thing... You could eat all the best foods but if your blood flow is poor, your body, organs and tissues won't get the oxygen and nutrients they need for optimum health.
