Dear friend, What was your body trying to tell you THIS morning? Your body always gives you valuable clues or feedback to help you understand what you should stop, start or continue doing in your life. All you have to do, if you want to keep it happy, is listen to your body and take its feedback seriously enough. Good listening skills are important in both our professional and personal lives. If you never take the effort to really listen when your partner or child speaks then chances are that your relationship with that person will suffer. Your 'relationship' with your body is the same. You need to really take the time to tune in and listen to what your body is trying to tell you... Of course, not many people are great listeners, and when it comes to listening to your own body sensations, well, chances are that we all need some help... What would your body say if it could scream? Imagine this... A friend wants to tell you something very important. Suddenly the phone rings. What do you do? Ignore your friend, answer the call and have a lively one hour chat OR... ...tell the person on the phone to call you back later so you can listen to your friend first? Sadly, most of us ignore the countless body sensations or signals that our bodies are trying to communicate to us. For example, perhaps you always get up blocked up in the morning. What does that tell you? Simple, you need to unblock it, right? Well, of course, but blowing your nose might not be the answer. Ever wonder why your nose is all blocked in the morning? Stop feeding those barbarian critters Did you know that your body sheds skin cells constantly? Yep, and even while you sleep. In one year, according to a source, you'll shed more than 8 pounds (3.6 kilograms) of dead skin. Gross! You can't see it but your dead skin cells are everywhere. In you hall way, your kitchen, bathroom... and, yes, even in your mattress and pillow. You might think "so what?" not a big deal, right? But think about this... Have you heard about dust mites?
